12New Rescue Trailer Released
A new rescue trailer has hit the roads of Texas this week. Metro Fire has designed and outfitted a custom rescue tool trailer that will be used as both a sales and educational tool around the state.
In efforts to continually improve the customers’ experience when showing rescue equipment, this trailer was customized with the Metro Fire touch to better organize the demonstration process.
“When we go do a demo, it’s very helpful that the whole process is self-contained now,” stated Allen Walters, Territory Manager. He also stressed the quality of the customization. “The interior of our new rescue trailer is built like we build our firetrucks, quality-minded.”
The South Houston service center had a team of service technicians, fabricator and graphic engineer that worked together to build the rescue trailer. They installed custom apparatus mounts, utilized plastic fabrication for drawers and shelves, and installed an exterior Holmatro rescue tool Core Bulk Head Connection among other specialty features.
The rescue trailer showcases equipment and tools from Holmatro, Paratech, Sperian Fire, VP Racing Fuels, Akron Brass, Glassmaster, Nupla, Council, PacTrac, and Sensible Products. Territory Managers will be able to utilize these vendors’ products at fire schools as educational tools in addition to better anticipating customers’ needs.
“We, here at Metro Fire, value the importance of education in the fire industry, and we are confident that this rescue trailer will be an asset at fire schools around the state,” stated Craig Russell, President and CEO. “We are sure of its success, we have already placed an order for a second trailer to be housed out of our Mansfield location.”
