  New Service Director at Mansfield

  By now most of you have heard that we have relocated our Arlington, Texas operations into the City of Mansfield, Texas.  In addition to that move, Metro Fire has hired a manager of our new 11,000 sq. ft. facility.

  Effective yesterday, November 1, 2010, Kelly Hogan joined the Metro Fire family as the Service Director of our Mansfield location (03), a newly created position.

  
  
  Recently retired from the City of Fort Worth Equipment Services Department after 34 years, Kelly brings a wealth of experience to his position, including:

  • 11 years as a light and heavy duty line mechanic
  • 8 years as a shop crew leader
  • 15 years as an ESD Service Center Supervisor, 11 of which were at the location where all FWFD maintenance were performed
  • 11 years of oversight to the City of Fort Worth’s Body Shop

   

  Highly respected by his peers, Kelly is known for his leadership and customer service management within the fire industry.  He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, Fire Department Safety Officers Association, Association of Equipment Management Professionals, and is a Certified Equipment Manager.

  Kelly is 30 years married, and has two (2) sons, one (1) of which is currently employed at Metro Fire, and I use the word “currently” very carefully.  Just kidding as Kelton joined Metro Fire over a year ago and is working within our Marketing Department.

  Bringing Kelly on board will be the spring board that we need in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to help take our service and maintenance department to a new level for our customers.

  Kelly has the foundation of a great staff already in place at Metro Fire, so I expect him to hit the ground running.
