Who We Support

As an active member of the community, Metro Fire seeks out ways to give back both to the fallen of the fire industry and to special causes within the state of Texas.

The Texas Line of Duty Task Force held their inaugural ‘Fallen Heroes’ memorial motorcycle ride and cook-off in March 2010, for which Metro Fire was the primary contributing sponsor. Employees also participated in the ride and acted as cook-off judges. Metro Fire seeks to help provide care for those firemen injured or lost in the line of duty, along with their families and fire departments.

Being based in Houston, Metro Fire shares a special affinity for the MD Anderson Cancer Center and their Children’s Art Project. Each year the company Christmas cards are illustrated by childhood cancer survivors who have received treatment locally.

Annually, Metro Fire partners with the Southwest Fire Rescue, State Firemen’s And Fire Marshals’ Association, Texas Engineering Extension Service, and Texas Fire Chiefs through supporting safety and education efforts, convention participation, and advertising. These Texas-based fire service organizations serve the needs of departments across the state, and Metro Fire shares in their mission.
