Director of Sales and Marketing 3/9/2010 Effective March 15, 2010, Jim Minton will be joining the Metro Fire family and will be filling the newly created position of Director of Sales and Marketing. Jim has served in the fire service for almost 40 years. He has been an instructor for Texas A&M Municipal and Industrial Fire Schools for 35 years. Just one of his many accomplishments over the years includes the Texas A&M Industrial Fire School W. H. Lauderback Instructor of the Year award in 2007. Jim worked for Sperian Fire Protection for the last 24 years and was very instrumental in the development of several new Sperian Fire products. The Director of Sales and Marketing responsibilities will include, but not limited, to the following; Full time management of sales staff Focus on expanding our coverage with new hires in territories we lack representation Working with vendor representatives for a stronger territory presence Responsibility within loose equipment and apparatus divisions Jim's contact information is posted on our website under "Contact Us".
