Metro Fire Enters Distribution Contract with VP Racing Fuels
5/3/2010
In effort to help fire departments here in Texas, Metro Fire has entered into a distribution agreement with San Antonio based VP Racing Fuels.
A product which is produced by VP Racing Fuels is: SEF94 Small Engine Fuel, a 94 octane unleaded fuel that provides easier, quicker starts for chain saws, exhaust fans, generators, rescue tools and any other portable gasoline-powered equipment used in emergency services.
Street gasoline containing ethanol often makes such equipment difficult, if not impossible to start. This is not the fault of the department's tools, but fuel breakdown. Fuel is breaking down in the tool fuel tanks and even in the portable storage tanks on our apparatus.
Ethanol can absorb moisture and form deposits in carburetors and fuel systems. This does cause carburetor gumming preventing small engines from starting. The breakdown of street fuel is taking important equipment out of service and adding to the strain on maintenance budgets.
SEF94 contains no ethanol, making it a much more dependable and a cost-effect solution. The unique properties of SEF94 also makes it an excellent long-term storage fuel, allowing quick starts even after equipment sits idle for many months.
Bottom line, SEF94 is the most dependable fuel on the market, saving you the inconvenience and expense of costly repairs while ensuring your equipment will start when it is needed.
Metro Fire has done testing with several departments around the state with tremendous results. As a result of our findings, we have placed into our stock 5 gallon pails of SEF94. We will soon have 50:1 pre-mix available.
Please contact one of our sales representatives or one of our offices to find out more and to order your SEF94 today and put your problems of small engine repairs behind you.
