Texas A&M Exhibits Another Large Success
7/23/2007
Once again, the Texas A&M Fire School Exhibits was an outstanding display of equipment and fire apparatus.
Each year seems to grow, somehow. The Reed Arena and the adjacent parking lot were full of fire apparatus.
Metro Fire was proud to exhibit the following apparatus:
Mansfield Fire Dept. Crimson Fire Engine
Santa Fe Fire Dept. SVI Rescue Truck
Friendswood - Metro Fire Conversion - Duty Officer's Suburban
Bryan Fire Dept. - Metro Fire Conversion - Battalion Chief's Suburban
Giddings Fire Dept. - Metro Fire Brush Truck
Special thanks to the departments and the fire chief's that allowed us to show their vehicles to the rest of the fire service here in Texas.
Every one of our vehicles was a show stopper. Many firefighters complimented us on all the vehicles that we displayed. Many told us we had the very best laid out apparatus there at the show - thanks to those who took time to stop by and noticed.
Also, many thanks to Roger Parker, regional sales manager for Crimson Fire, Tim Johnson regional sales Manager for Spartan Chassis, Steve Houchin regional sales Manager for SVI trucks, Jerry Pilarski of Task Force Tips and Jay Bell of Holmatro for assisting us with our exhibit.
The employees of Metro Fire were outstanding, once again. Thanks to all the Metro employees that participated this weekend. You are what separates us from the rest.
"Never settle for average, excel to perfection".
